College Football Scores: Top 10 Performances in Week 3
It's Saturday night, and we are in the midst of another exciting weekend of college football. We have already seen some amazing skills from some of the best players in the country.
Here is a list of the top 10 performances in Week 3 of college football.
10. Jamie Harper, Clemson
1 of 10
It looks like Clemson isn't missing C.J. Spiller too much.
Running back Jamie Harper had an amazing catch in Clemson's 27-24 loss at Auburn, diving into the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown.
This catch will definitely be one of the most played highlights of this weekend, and maybe even this season!
9. Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State
2 of 10
During this afternoon's 43-7 victory over the Ohio Bobcats, Terrelle Pryor had yet another impressive performance.
Pryor completed 22 of his 29 passes, throwing 16 straight completions against OU.
8. Denard Robinson, Michigan
3 of 10
While many fans are disappointed with the performance by Michigan's defense, quarterback Denard Robinson had another great game in a 42-37 win over UMass.
We're so used to Robinson putting up ridiculous numbers that his 104 rushing yards don't seem as impressive as they really are.
He also threw for 241 yards and two scores on 10-of-14 passing.
7. Jarvis Phillips, Texas Tech
4 of 10
Texas Tech is hanging in there with the Longhorns, and Jarvis Phillips' interception in the first quarter was definitely a contributing factor.
Phillips picked off a pass by Garrett Gilbert and then ran the ball back 85 yards for a touchdown!
Too bad for Tech that UT prevailed, 24-14.
6. Geno Smith, West Virginia
5 of 10
Geno Smith led his Mountaineers to a 31-17 victory over Maryland.
Smith threw for 268 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions.
5. Kellen Moore, Boise State
6 of 10
Kellen Moore is having another stellar performance against Wyoming.
In the Broncos' 50-6 victory, Moore threw 370 yards and two touchdowns.
4. DeMarco Murray, Oklahoma
7 of 10
DeMarco Murray was the workhorse of the Oklahoma offense in today's 27-24 home win against Air Force.
Murray rushed for 111 yards on 26 carries and scored every single one of the Sooners' touchdowns, including a receiving one.
3. Taylor Martinez, Nebraska
8 of 10
Martinez is one of these "jack of all trades" quarterbacks like Terrelle Pryor and Denard Robinson. The true freshman passed for 150 yards and one touchdown, then ran 137 yards and three touchdowns against Washington in a 56-21 win.
It looks like Nebraska will fit in nicely when they join the Big Ten.
2. Mark Ingram, Alabama
9 of 10
He's back!
Ingram started in his first game this season with the Crimson Tide after an injury, and the Heisman Trophy winner didn't waste much time getting back to business, rushing nine times for 151 yards and two touchdowns in a 62-13 rout of Duke.
1. Ryan Mallett, Arkansas
10 of 10
Mallett led his Hogs to a 31-24 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, and he proved that Arkansas has one of the best passing offenses in college football.
Throwing for 380 yards and three touchdowns, Mallett was ice cold as he rallied late in the fourth quarter to pull off the win.
