Boise State: There Could Be Trouble With the BCS Game After Broncos' Big Win

Oh Boise! With Boise State's big win on Labor Day night, the BCS game suddenly looks like it could be a harrowing task should Boise come to the end of the season undefeated yet again.

How many more times can they do that and told they don't deserve a seat at the table?

Would an undefeated Boise State be more deserving to be in the BCS game than an undefeated TCU? Certainly!

Would an undefeated Boise State be more deserving to be in the BCS game than an undefeated Ohio State? Maybe.

What about an undefeated Alabama? Ok, that might be a stretch, but they certainly would deserve to be in the talk for a final two.

Tonight the boys from Boise beat a usual top 10 team on a neutral field 33-30 in a valiant come from behind effort in front of a huge national audience.

They played with heart, with a tough defense and an offense that responded all night long when it had to.

This was not a lucky win, but a gutty one. If Boise is not given very serious consideration after winning this game, then the boys in blue can finally cry foul and be legitimately heard.

There were more schools pulling for a Boise State loss than for Virginia Tech to come up short. The reason is that the usual BCS conferences don't want Boise muddying up the waters at the end of the year.

Consider them muddy now and deservedly so.
