EPL Transfers: Arsenal, Liverpool, and Top 10 Hottest Transfers News
The day begins as another step closer to the transfer deadline of the summer window. Some transfers have already been completed, some are on the move and some surprises are yet to occur. We have seen the big transfers like James Milner, Joe Cole, David Silva, and others.
Here I present you the 10 hottest and latest transfer news in the market, which already has or can materialize to see some of the most interesting moves of the season.
10. Hatem Ben Arfa
Manchester United and Liverpool were up for this €12m rated French playmaker. Ben Arfa was linked with a move to Newcastle United, but recently his agent had confirmed that the club from EPL is a big and premier one. And it may had been very well be United or Liverpool.

While United surely needs a playmaker, Liverpool does not need any at the time. However, Roy Hodgson may have some plans. The Marseille playmaker is an expert in creating the ball to score, but at the same time is injury prone!
Alas, in the last minute Newcastle won the race with signing Ben Arfa and bringing an international class player to the Toons team.
9. Sebastien Sqillaci
Sevilla had confirmed that they have accepted a €6.5m fee for trading off their defender Squillaci to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger was in search for defender after the departure of William Gallas and others.
The addition of Laurent Koscielny alone could not make the defense strong. Squillaci is tall, strong mentally, a tough tackler, and has plenty of international experience. He can also score the odd goal from set pieces and thus together with Vermaelen, he can add a great strength to the club.
8. Steven Pienaar
Leaving or staying? Perhaps that remains the biggest question for Everton’s playmaker as he was offered a deal from Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are playing for the Championship in UEFA Champions League, and thus Pienaar may find it interesting to join the team.
However, it may be that the man wants to give it a try to see if Everton signs a new contract to retain him, like his teammate Mikel Arteta.
7. Dirk Kuyt
It seems like this is a busy transfer season for the Reds. Their ex-manager, Rafael Benitez, has expressed his desire for Liverpool midfielder Dirk Kuyt. Kuyt, at 30, has long been an important part of the squad but his recent contributions have shown a sign of impact-less consistency.
Benitez, the manager of Inter Milan, has offered a multiple option of players plus cash to land Kuyt which include David Suazo, Victor Obinna, Amantino Mancini, Sulley Muntari, and others. I feel that Hodgson should go for this and have €5-8m cash plus a player like Suazo or Obinna.
Though for the moment it looks like the move froze due to the fact that Kuyt decided to commit his future to the Reds.
6. Fabrice Muamba
Bolton Wanderers have been interested to land the 21-year-old midfielder Tom Cleverly from Manchester United on a loan deal. However, the move failed as United boss Sir Alex made his point of retaining Cleverly in this season.
But recently, the midfield problems of United with an injured Owen Hargreaves and out-of-form Michael Carrick has compelled the manager to think of Fabrice Muamba from Bolton.
Muamba, at 22, is a great holding force in the midfield with his strong physical prowess and sound tackling ability. This can in turn be inspired by Bolton’s interest in Cleverly.
5. Scott Parker and Lassana Diarra
The talented and perhaps the best player in the Hammers squad may be heading to White Hart Lane if things work out as planned by Harry Redknapp.
The Spurs manager has placed a bid of €8-10m for the England midfielder and wants him to place in the final squad of 25 this season.
Parker's sale can grant West Ham some money and fulfill their manager Avram Grant's wishes to race for Pompey defender Marc Wilson.
West Ham owners have said that Scott is not for sale, but the rising debts of the club may finally see the transfer done.
Diarra, former target for the Reds and Manchester United, is now high on the radar of Redknapp and you may soon expect the prolific and hard midfielder to land on White Hart Lane before the season closes.
4. Raul Meireless and Paul Konchesky
Liverpool completed the signing of the Portuguese International from FC Porto with a reported fee of €14m. The player is an extremely talented individual with his best in an anchoring midfielder role.
Liverpool wanted to fill the vacancy of the departed Javier Mascherano and Raul was a nice solution to the place. Infarct, a better one. Now the Reds have a stronger midfield where Meireless can hold back allowing Steven Gerrard to move front and launch attacks.
Liverpool also is expecting to complete the signing of Paul Konchesky from Fulham to introduce a veteran and experienced left back into the system.
No doubt that Konchesky is a good player and has talent, but with Fabio Aurelio and Emiliano Insua already on the team, does Hodgson really need this move?
3. Shay Given and Roque Santa Cruz
Manchester City may finally bid a goodbye to two of their players as Fulham boss Mark Hughes is highly interested in landing them.
Given's sub role as a goalkeeper will end hereby and also Fulham can finally find a first choice goalie if Mark Schwarzer completes his move to Arsenal.
Roque Santa Cruz, the once-Blackburn hero, roasted bad in Man City and may soon find an escape to unite with his beloved former manager Mark Hughes. Wherever Hughes goes, Santa Cruz follows.
2. Andy Carroll
Arsene Wenger joined the fan club of Newcastle United star Andy Carroll.
Wenger has long been an admirer of Carroll since his emergence in the Championship and may consider signing him in the January transfer window, as Carroll is seen as a long term target of the boss.
Arsenal is reputed as a free scoring outfit and still they have problems in the team to find a 20-goal scorer in a season. Andy Carroll is expected to fill in this hole.
1. Carlton Cole or Fernando Llorente?
As we head to the end of the transfer season, Liverpool is surely the one emerging out to be the busiest of all.
Roy Hodgson's new unit still needs the "right-profile" forward beside Fernando Torres and so now from Ola Toivonen, Hodgson's interests shifts to Carlton Cole and Fernando Llorente.
Cole, a West Ham striker, is tall and strong physically and good with the ball often but really not the player may be who fills in for a fee of €10m. However, United coach Sir Alex and several others were also interested in the player before, so can he be a good one in Anfield? May be you get a diamond this time out of the "Coal."
Fernando Llorente, on the contrary, is an Atletico Bilbao forward who stands like a giant with a height of 6'5" and has been a consistent good performer in La Liga, netting the ball 53 times. He can move to Anfield with a good sum offered, added with the fact that two other Spanish internationals (Torres and Pepe Reina) play for the Reds.
