USA Soccer Announces 18-Man Roster for Brazil Match
Bob Bradley has announced the 18 players who will represent the United States in their first match since their inspiring 2010 FIFA World Cup as they prepare to meet Brazil on Tuesday.
Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey are among those who will not be appearing as they prepare for early season openers for their European clubs.
However, Bradley still named a team of well-known Yanks, with Landon Donovan leading the way.

Tim Howard, Carlos Bocanegra, and Michael Bradley are also in the team.
Fourteen of the players were part of the 23-man roster for the World Cup, while four who were absent from the trip to South Africa will be donning the red, white, and blue on Tuesday. Chad Marshall, Alejandro Bedoya, and Sacha Kljestan will be on the field.
Jermaine Jones is the other newcomer—literally a newcomer. The 28-year-old will be the only player making his first cap for the national team after switching over from the German national team last year. FIFA rule changes allowed any player who had dual nationalities to switch from the team they had previously represented as long as they had only played friendlies. Jones made three friendly appearances for Germany.
These are the 18 members of the squad.
