Silvio Berlusconi Out - New AC Milan President, Come Save Us!
AC Milan is ranked as the 7th richest football club in the world in 2010 by Forbes magazine; valued at $800 million; It is also the richest club in Italy. This club is a wonderful business for many reasons. I am representing approximately 34,000 Milan fans when I say that it is time for change. We have lost our president and he has lost us. This business needs a lot of passion and our president has stopped supplying his passion. I am sad to say that we have no president any more. One could say that we are similar to orphan children looking for a loving family. The president officially declared in a press conference, on July 20, his wishes of parting with the club using words which imply that Milan is rather a burden on his shoulders! "If there was someone ready to spend 461 million euros over seven years as I did, I will be willing to sell. But since no one appeared, I feel obliged to continue." I, hereby, invite all business people to make a bid to buy AC Milan! All business people who are looking for a great opportunity for publicity, good reputation and a long-term asset. This club is generous. How? first of all, it has history better than any football club in the world. Second, the image of the club will promote the owner and his/her other businesses. Third, money invested for the club will bring more money; it is easy for Milan to win when it has the right players; this is a winning club that can easily generate money if managed properly. Almost all of the income generated by this football club comes from winning more and more. TV rights, seasonal ticket sale, Milan products sale, competition reward money (especially Milan's favorite competition champions' league) and sponsor money will easily come if the team is strong and wins trophies. More importantly, this is club is all about passion and true emotion. One of the most loved clubs and all around the world. The supporters of this club of all nationalities and all ages. All colors and both genders. The love for this team is beyond imagination and all supporters are willing to give everything they have for Milan. That is why it was very difficult for all of us to see Silvio loose his passion to this club. As mentioned, the club is up for sale. Along with these declarations from Berlusconi was the birth of a new facebook group called "Berlusconi out of Milan? We want Squinzi or Ferrero". Journalist Matthew Colturani said that from what he learned from the President Berlusconi intention to sell the company within a couple of years. "I know for a fact that Berlusconi mandated to some advisers to estimate the total value of AC Milan. I know that the intention is not to sell to foreign buyers and that there was contact with Italian entrepreneur Giorgio Squinzi." he said. Squinzi is a huge Milan fan and would have the required capital and passion for overtaking the team. On the other hand, Italian entrepreneur Michele Ferrero, the owner of chocolate making group Ferrero, is interested in taking over Milan. Ferrero is Italy’s wealthiest person and the 28th richest in the world, according to Forbes figures. He allegedly plans to take over the San Siro outfit within two years. "Paolo Maldini would always insists on having bread and Nutella at breakfast and for snacks" -club chef Michele Persechini. Paolo needed Ferrero chocolate and now all of Milan need Ferrero himself.
