4:40 EST: Finally, thanks for tuning in here for tonight's match that resulted in a 1-1 draw between England and the United States in Rustenberg.
Overall, I want to thank everyone who followed this blog, and tomorrow we have three matches.
First off, we have Algeria v Slovenia at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in the final Group C encounter.
After that, we have Serbia v Ghana at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, and Germany v Australia at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, both of which are Group D matches.
4:33 EST: From here, England will face Algeria at the Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town, while the United States will face Slovenia at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
Both of these matches are on June 18.
4:30 EST: My man of the match here is Tim Howard. He kept the United States in this match and is truly the best player on the American roster.
The goat of the game is Robert Green for that goal.
4:27 EST: Meanwhile, England really did not play to their best. They should have gotten more shots on target and surely the English media will be even more on top of the English.
4:24 EST: Great job here from the United States tonight in Rustenburg. They really played great tonight and they deserved their result.
4:23 EST: IT'S OVER! ENGLAND AND UNITED STATES PLAY TO 1-1 DRAW!
4:22 EST: Clint Dempsey off for Herculez Gomez. Final sub for US
4:21 EST: One and half minutes left. A draw seems likely
4:20 EST: England going all out on the attack. Two more minutes!
4:19 EST: Four additional minutes
4:18 EST: 90TH MINUTE. Holden wins a corner
4:16 EST: Donovan's shot over the bar. Only the fourth US shot this half
4:14 EST: Jozy Altidore in for Stuart Holden. Second American substitution.
4:13 EST: United States has to be careful of these attacks. England is pushing everyone forward here.
4:11 EST: Will England lose this match on the counter attack?
4:10 EST: Fabio Capello really put himself in a hole with two early subs. Will it kill him in the end?
4:09 EST: Peter Crouch in for Emile Heskey. Final English substitution
4:07 EST: United States defense really is shutting down the box for England.
4:06 EST: Edson Buddle in for Robbie Findley for first American substitution.
4:04 EST: Rooney gets best chance of match and it barely goes wide.
4:03 EST: Great job by Martin Tyler for showing no bias in match. But we should expect that out of him. Same goes for John Harkes.
4:03 EST: Findley now shown yellow for challenge on Gerrard.
4:02 EST: Findley gets pulled down but nothing called. Best chance for US in several minutes.
4:00 EST: Wayne Rooney misses best chance of game and with less than 20 minutes left, who will win?
3:58 EST: England on attack but as usual cannot get job done.
3:56 EST: Dangerous free kick for England easily stopped by Howard off redirection.
3:54 EST: Counter attacking football at its very best.
First, Jozy Altidore hits the post on one end and Aaron Lennon's crossgets pushed aside by DeMerit
3:50 EST: Carragher and Gerrard both get yellow cards. Donovan free kick gets pushed aside.
3:46 EST: Nice play from Onyewu to get back on Rooney on that last play.
Rooney really has been shut down by the US defense
3:43 EST: The US has to stop these long passes from England
3:41 EST: Tim Howard really is Superman. Another great save on Emile Heskey and boy the US should really be down 3-0 or 4-0!
3:38 EST: England are really trying to get that second goal. I can't believe Wayne Rooney missed that chance!
3:37 EST: USA defender Jay DeMerit gets caution for deliberate handball.
3:35 EST: Fabio Capello is making WAY TOO MANY substitutes this early.
3:34 EST: Jamie Carragher is on for Ledley King as England's second substitute and we are now underway in the second half!
3:25 EST: I will see everyone in about ten minutes for the second half!
3:24 EST: If the United States continue to play the way they did, and England once again play as bad as they did as the half came to a close, there is no doubt that the United States will win.
3:20 EST: The first half was filled with excitment, and the United States really played much better as the half went on.
3:19 EST: AT THE HALF, THE SCORE IS 1-1
3:17 EST: Three extra minutes
3:16 EST: Great point from the commentators about England's goalkeeping situation.
"By not allowing a goalkeeper to play a full match, he loses confidence". And that was extremely apparent their with Green.
3:12 EST: Green's goal was maybe a result of ball movement or wet pitch, but that was a shot that a goalkeeper in the World Cup MUST STOP!
3:11 EST: Robert Green allows softest goal in World Cup history on weak shot from Clint Dempsey!
Score now tied at one!
3:10 EST: Cherundolo cautioned for tackle of Wright-Phillips
3:09 EST: England look much sharper since Wright-Phillips substitution.
3:07 EST: Looking back at the substitution of Shawn Wright-Phillips for Milner, Fabio Capello made a strong move as Milner has looked ineffective
3:04 EST: Howard's okay and Jozy's shot is stopped by Green.
3:00 EST: Tim Howard down with an injury
2:58 EST: John Harkes becomes first ESPN announcer to complain about vuvenzela's!
2:57 EST: James Milner gets first caution of the match for tackle on Cherundolo.
2:56 EST: When England are down the field, they are really putting some pressure on the American defense.
If this keeps up, it will be a long night for American fans.
2:54 EST: Landon Donovan needs more time with the football
2:50 EST: England are starting to press again and Tim Howard has had to do some work in the back to keep the score 1-0.
2:49 EST: Donovan makes a solid cross on his first real chance to do anything so far, and Jozy Altidore just missed the English goal.
2:48 EST: English fans and the vuvuzela's are really making some noise here!
2:44 EST: USA using their head's to get another header on the English goal.
At least the US are not allowing to take any more punishment from the English.
2:41 EST: USA playing better but still down 1-0. The US must keep up this possession level if they are to have any chance of winning
2:38 EST: Gerrard's goal is the first goal from a European nation so far in this World Cup.
2:36 EST: Some Terrible play in the back leads to Gerrard's goal and Tim Howard really is peeved at his defense!
2:34 EST: Steven Gerrard Goal!
2:30 EST: We Have Kickoff In Rustenburg!
2:30 EST: Tonight's referee will be Brazilian Carlos Simon, who was suspended for the final month of the Brazilian league's season due to poor officiating.
2:28 EST: England will be wearing their white home kit while the USA wears their blue away kit.
2:22 EST: Here we go out to Rustenberg as we will listen to each sides national anthem after the players leave the tunnel!
First up will be God Save the Queen for England followed by the Star Spangled Banner for the USA.
2:19 EST: The match will begin in about ten minutes, and Zakumi is sure excited!
2:17 EST: Alexi Lalas once again said that USA will win 2-1. Right now, he is talking more smack than anyone else on either side!
2:15 EST: Finally we have some talk about Joe Gaetjens, the man who scored the winning goal against England in the 1950 World Cup here on ABC.
Gaetjens was a dishwasher going into the World Cup, but joined the US squad for the World Cup and never became a citizen as he returned to Haiti.
In 1964, Gaetjens was murdered in Haiti by the government in a really tragic story for a tragic hero.
2:11 EST: Great short piece on ABC about how much soccer means to South Africa since apartheid.
This World Cup means a lot to Africa as a whole, and South Africa are so far hosting a fantastic World Cup.
2:07 EST: Just heard Martin Tyler and John Harkes for the first time tonight. They really seem pumped up for this one!
2:04 EST: It will be interesting to see how much the weather will play as a factor tonight.
Right now, the temperature is around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and steadily dropping, something that could really benefit England.
2:00 EST: You got to love that US highlight video with U2 in the background on ABC!
1:58 EST: For England, the selection of Robert Green to start at goalkeeper tells us that David James was not 100 percent to go tonight in a match that he normally would start in.
Also, James Milner will take the starting left wing spot that many expected Joe Cole to be starting in for tonight's match.
1:56 EST: For the US, the selection of Steve Cherundolo probably should have been expected by more to start, but the selection of Oguchi Onyewu signifys that Bob Bradley expects Gooch to go all 90 minutes.
Also, Robbie Findley will take over Charlie Davies' old starting spot on top next to Jozy Altidore over Edson Buddle and Herculez Gomez.
1:52 EST: Here is England's starting linuep:
(4-4-2)
Green
A. Cole Terry King Johnson
Milner Gerrard Lampard Lennon
Heskey Rooney
1:42 EST: ESPN's Jeremy Schaap has just given the US starting lineup which is as followed:
(4-4-2)
Howard
Bocanegra DeMerit Onyewu Cherundolo
Donovan Clark Bradley Dempsey
Altidore Findley
1:36 EST: So far today, we have witnessed two Group B matches.
In Port Elizabeth, South Korea beat a shakey Greek side by a 2-0 score, and in Ellis Park in Johannesburg, Argentina beat Nigeria 1-0 on a goal from Gabriel Heinze off a corner.
1:32 EST: Hello and welcome everyone to this live streaming of the England v USA match that will start in less than an hour.
Here in the United States, the match will start at 2:30 Eastern Time (11:30 Pacific Time), and the match will be live on ABC with the pregame show just starting up right now.
Tonight's broadcasters on ABC will be Martin Tyler and John Harkes from Rustenberg.
