The key rival to the North American bid to host football's biggest event in 2026 comes from Morocco.
Per Mark Ogden of ESPN, Morocco are a "genuine contender to win the race" as they are likely to receive backing from African and Asian nations, as well as potentially Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium and Russia, in their bid to win 104 votes from FIFA's 207 members.
The final decision will be made on June 13.
