JR Smith Drills Buzzer-Beating 70-Foot 3-Pointer in Cavaliers vs. Pacers

Rob GoldbergApr 22, 2018

JR Smith has never been afraid to shoot from deep, and his buzzer-beater at the end of the first quarter was as good as it gets.

The Cleveland Cavaliers guard shot from inside the opposite three-point line and swished it, seemingly with ease:

Ethan Strauss of The Athletic put the shot in perspective:

It was Smith's third three-pointer of Sunday's game against the Indiana Pacers, giving the Cavs a 30-24 after the first quarter.

Per OddsShark, there were also gambling stakes on the line with the over/under for the first quarter set at 53. The three-quarter-court heave put the total over, likely causing some money to change hands in Las Vegas.

Although Smith had been cold entering Game 4, he appears to have found his shot in this one.
