After winning MVP of the G League last season, Mac McClung is continuing his professional career overseas.

Bàsquet Girona of Liga ACB in Spain announced on Thursday it has signed McClung to a deal.

McClung started last season with the Indiana Pacers, appearing in three games, before being waived on Nov. 6. He joined the Windy City Bulls in the G League after that.

The move worked out great for McClung because he averaged 31.8 points, 7.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game in 29 starts with Windy City. He also got to spend time with the NBA club in Chicago after signing a two-way contract in February.

McClung appeared in eight games off the bench for the Bulls. He scored a season-high 13 points in the final game of the regular season.

Despite McClung's individual success with Windy City, the club missed the playoffs with a 15-21 record. He won his second MVP award in three seasons, making him the only player in G League history to receive the honor multiple times.

Bàsquet Girona will mark McClung's first time playing overseas since turning pro in 2021. He has bounced between the G League and NBA over the past five seasons.

McClung has appeared in 17 NBA games with five different teams. He is best known as the modern king of the Slam Dunk Contest, having won the annual event during All-Star Weekend in three consecutive years from 2023 to '25.

Nate Robinson is the only other player to win the Dunk Contest three times, but he didn't do it in consecutive years.

Bàsquet Girona is adding McClung to its roster following a 14-20 record last season. The club is going into its fifth year in Liga ACB after earning a promotion in 2022 after winning the 2021-22 LEB Oro championship.
