La Liga Results 2018: Scores and Updated Table After Saturday's Week 32 Matches
Barcelona set a new record by extending their unbeaten run in La Liga to 39 games after winning 2-1 against Valencia at the Camp Nou on Saturday.
The result has also put the Blaugrana 14 points clear at the top, before second-placed Atletico Madrid host Levante on Sunday.
At the other end of the table, Deportivo La Coruna gave their fading hopes of avoiding relegation a boost with a dramatic 3-2 win over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames Stadium. Adrian Lopez was the two-goal hero for Depor, who are still five points short of safety.

Barca continued their winning ways thanks to a fine display from Philippe Coutinho. The former Liverpool playmaker created an early goal for Luis Suarez before putting a corner on to the head of Samuel Umtiti six minutes after the break.
Coutinho was the star, while Suarez merely continued his lengthy run of hurting Los Che, per Sky Sports Statto:
Valencia battled hard and got a goal back late on when Daniel Parejo struck from the penalty spot with three minutes remaining. However, the leaders held on for a vital and record-setting three points.
Barca now hold the record for an unbeaten run in Spain's top flight, having topped Real Sociedad's 38-win sequence between 1979 and 1980. Sky Sports Statto highlighted two of the notable figures behind the Blaugrana's achievement:
The win puts Barcelona closer to the title but also represents an impressive and timely recovery after their shock exit from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of AS Roma on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Valencia manager Marcelino felt Barca owed a debt of gratitude to their man between the posts, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, per Rik Sharma of Reuters:
Deportivo's finishing was sharper at San Mames, with Lopez in top form. The crafty and well-travelled forward scored twice in eight minutes to stake the visitors into a commanding lead.
FC Porto loanee Lopez, who won the UEFA Europa League with Atleti in 2012, is being efficient with his chances during a second spell with Depor, per OptaJose:
Raul Garcia and Markel Susaeta scored goals for Athletic either side of Borja Valle adding a third for the away side.
Deportivo have given themselves a chance of staying up, especially if Atleti do them a favour on Sunday.
Sevilla fell behind in the first half when Dani Raba put Villarreal in front. Carlos Bacca made it 2-0 in the 68th minute, shortly after a bizarre series of events involving Ben Yedder.
The striker was booked twice in the blink of an eye by referee Pablo Gonzalo Fuertes, who didn't take kindly to Ben Yedder asking for a Villarreal player to be booked, per Sky Sports.
When Ben Yedder mocked Fuertes for his decision, a second yellow card sent Sevilla's best attacker packing.

Villarreal should have been assured of all three points but saw Costa sent off for a hand ball in the box. Nolito's penalty was saved, but the same player did find the net soon after before Steven N'Zonzi equalised with eight minutes left.
Neither side was helped much by the point, as both slipped behind Real Betis.
Sociedad saw a club record fall by the wayside but did enjoy a creditable away win at Las Palmas. The lone goal came courtesy of Mikel Oyarzabal, who finished well after being teed up by Asier Illarramendi.
A spot in the top 10 is Sociedad's reward, one place behind a Celta Vigo side beaten 1-0 in Leganes thanks to a goal from Miguel Angel Guerrero shortly after the hour mark.
Sunday will feature Atletico and Real Madrid hoping for wins to delay Barca's title party a little longer, even if the leaders shouldn't have many more weeks to wait before being crowned champions.
