Mohamed Salah Appears to Question Harry Kane Being Awarded Goal vs. Stoke City
Mohamed Salah seems to have questioned the Premier League's decision to award Harry Kane a goal after review by the Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel.
Liverpool forward Salah, who is locked in a race with Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane for the league's Golden Boot award, tweeted after his nearest rival was given Spurs' second goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Stoke City:

Salah wasn't the only player to appear to comment on the decision, with Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy tweeting after the announcement:
The league detailed the decision to confirm Kane's 25th goal on its official website: " [...] After taking the player’s testimony into account and reviewing the match footage, a three-person panel agreed that the final touch on the ball belonged to Kane."
Kane had initially appeared to get the faintest of touches to help turn a Christian Eriksen free-kick in against the Potters. However, the goal was soon awarded to Denmark playmaker Eriksen, despite Kane's protests.
Tottenham's No. 10 insisted he had made contact, per Marc Williams of the Daily Star: "I swear on my daughter's life that I touched the ball, but there's nothing I can do."
In fact, Spurs did do something, making an appeal for the goal to be reviewed, per Sky Sports.
It means Kane has joined a select group of Premier League greats who have scored 25 goals or more for three seasons running, per Squawka Football:
Yet the league's decision to give Kane his latest goal on review prompted a cheeky question from the division's all-time leading goalscorer Alan Shearer:
Fantasy Premier League explained why the goal won't be reassigned in fantasy football teams:
Kane's latest distinction aside, he still trails Salah by four goals. However, Liverpool reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-final could see Salah rested for the end of the domestic campaign, giving Kane hope of still winning the Golden Boot.
