Everton vs. Liverpool: Team News, Preview, Live Stream, TV Info
Liverpool will be desperate to keep momentum building in their 2017-18 season on Saturday when they visit Everton in the Merseyside derby.
The Reds were irresistible on Wednesday in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg, as they hammered Manchester City 3-0 in an unforgettable night at Anfield.
With Tuesday's return game at the Etihad Stadium in mind, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp may make a number of changes for this Premier League fixture.

As for Everton, their season has been enormously underwhelming, and while manager Sam Allardyce has steered the team away from any relegation woes, there's a malaise engulfing Goodison Park with him in charge.
It's been eight years since the Toffees last beat their local rivals. Here are the viewing details to see if they can overcome the Reds, some team news ahead of the match and a preview of what's to come in the first fixture of Week 33.

Everton: Allardyce will hope to welcome Idrissa Gueye back to the XI after his presence was sorely missed against Manchester City last weekend. Ashley Williams is available again following his recent suspension.
Likely XI: Jordan Pickford; Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Phil Jagielka, Leighton Baines; Idrissa Gueye, Tom Davies, Wayne Rooney; Yannick Bolasie, Cenk Tosun, Theo Walcott
Liverpool: Mohamed Salah surely won't be risked here after he hobbled out of the game against City with a groin problem. Klopp is also likely to rest a number of key players, meaning there may be an opportunity for the likes of Dominic Solanke and Danny Ings to make an impact.
Likely XI: Loris Karius; Nathaniel Clyne, Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno; Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sadio Mane, Dominic Solanke, Danny Ings
Everton Chase Overdue Derby Win

While there is a clear chasm in class between the Merseyside rivals at this moment, eight years is a long time to go without beating your bitter enemies.
Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta were on the scoresheet the last time the Toffees prevailed in this fixture in October 2010, with Roy Hodgson in the dugout as Liverpool boss that day. In the fixtures since, they haven't often come close to picking up three points.
Last weekend against Manchester City, the Toffees didn't appear to be a team capable of beating Liverpool either.
As noted by Matt Cheetham of Sky Sports, Everton were turgid in the first half of a lopsided contest:
There's an opportunity to get one over on Liverpool here, though, especially if Klopp does leave a number of big guns out with the second leg against City in mind.
Liverpool have had the edge over their rivals for many years now and there has frequently been a mental block that Everton haven't been able to overcome. But while the gap between the sides in terms of quality hasn't been too wide since 2010, it's now massive.

The Reds are unlikely to call upon Salah or Roberto Firmino after both were taken off against City. For Solanke and Ings, who has netted in a derby at Goodison Park for Liverpool before, there may be a chance to make themselves a local hero.
As noted by Neil Jones of Goal, there may be an opening for a few fringe players to impress:
The Redmen TV joked earlier in the week that Liverpool simply have much bigger priorities at the moment than the Premier League:
The buildup to the game has been a little muted, and you suspect both sides would prefer this fixture to have come at a different time. Still, the atmosphere at Goodison should be fizzing come kick-off.
Everton should see this as a big opportunity to end their derby hoodoo, as Liverpool will be understrength and have an eye on Tuesday. But the red half of Merseyside always seem to find a way to prevail in this fixture.
Prediction: Everton 1-2 Liverpool
