Jack Wilshere Withdraws from England Squad vs. Italy with Knee Injury
Jack Wilshere's poor luck with injuries is set to continue, as the Arsenal man has suffered a knock to the knee that will keep him out of international action for England against Italy.
Per Alexander Netherton of Eurosport, the midfielder was unable to feature against the Netherlands on Friday due to the same issue, and he has withdrawn from the group.
Per the report, England manager Gareth Southgate has warned the player his persistent injury issues could see him dropped from the FIFA World Cup squad.

It's the latest in a long line of health-related setbacks for the 26-year-old. Wilshere was once regarded as England's top young talent in midfield, but injuries have ravaged his career, leading to a loan at Bournemouth last season and serious questions regarding his future at the Emirates Stadium.
Per Transfermarkt.co.uk, his injury history is the stuff of nightmares, but the 2017-18 campaign had so far been different.
With good health came an upturn in form, and Wilshere has returned to being a regular and productive contributor for the Gunners. He also returned to the national team, but this latest setback could undo all the hard work he has put in.
Per the Mirror's John Cross, Arsenal have already made it clear they will not increase the contract offer that is on the table, and more injury concerns will not help his case. Not only could Wilshere lose his spot in the national team; his place at his boyhood club could also be in real jeopardy this summer.
