La Liga Results 2017: Scores and Updated Table After Saturday's Week 14 Matches
La Liga leaders Barcelona dropped points for the second consecutive weekend after being held to a 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo at Camp Nou on Saturday.
However, Real Madrid failed to capitalise as they could only manage a draw at Athletic Bilbao and also saw Sergio Ramos sent off late on.
The day's big winners at the top were therefore Atletico Madrid, who took full advantage, coming from behind to beat Real Sociedad thanks to a late goal from Antoine Griezmann.

Saturday Recap
Barcelona kicked off La Liga proceedings against a Celta side now coached by former Blaugrana assistant coach Juan Carlos Unzue.
The visitors went ahead after 20 minutes, capitalising on some generous defending with Iago Aspas slotting into an empty net after goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen had saved brilliantly from Maxi Gomez.
Sky Sports Statto captured the moment and also illustrated just how rich a vein of form the striker is in currently:
However, Celta's lead lasted less than two minutes, Lionel Messi slotting through goalkeeper Ruben Blanco's legs, for his first goal since October.
The goal sparked Barca into life, and they should have gone 2-1 up after Luis Suarez finished a Messi pass clinically, only to see his effort ruled out for offside.
Sports journalist Mootaz Chehade showed how Suarez appeared to be onside:
The hosts did finally take the lead after the break, Suarez finishing a great move between Messi and Jordi Alba, but Celta hit back through Gomez.
There was further disappointment for Barca, too, with key defender Samuel Umtiti forced off with what looked like a hamstring problem.
Football writer Sid Lowe explained just how big a blow Umtiti's injury is to Barca:
Barca did have chances to win the game—Paulinho rounded Blanco but fired wide, and the Celta goalkeeper also saved headers from Messi and Paulinho.
Messi, who was in sparkling form, also hit the outside of the post in an improved attacking showing by the Blaugrana.
ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan said Barca have looked better in recent weeks, despite dropping points:
Barca had the chances to win the game and will be disappointed to only pick up a point against a spirited Celta side; however, it is the injury to Umtiti that may worry Valverde more.
Atletico Madrid moved to within six points of Barca after coming from behind to beat Real Sociedad at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Willian Jose put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot after Jan Oblak had brought down Mikel Oyarzabal.
Filipe Luis equalised for Atletico who then piled on the pressure and ensured goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli had a busy afternoon.
Corrigan was certainly impressed with the Sociedad stopper:
Atletico looked to be heading for a draw until Griezmann popped up with just two minutes of normal time remaining.
Saul Niguez looped a header to the far post, and the striker slid in bravely to give his side all three points against his former team.
Opta showed how Griezmann seems to have recovered his form after a poor start to the season:
Atletico remain unbeaten in La Liga, and with Griezmann getting back to his best and Barca dropping points, they will hope they can maintain their form to challenge for the title this season.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, were left frustrated by a goalless draw at Athletic Bilbao, who put in one of their best performances of the season so far.
Karim Benzema hit the post early on for Real, but Inaki Williams and Aritz Aduriz were causing problems for the visitors as the hosts gave as good as they got in the first half.
The second half was a similar story with chances at a premium, and Real Madrid's lack of creativity was explained by Spanish football journalist David Cartlidge:
A frustrating evening was compounded by a late sending off for Ramos who received his second yellow card after jumping with his arm up against Aduriz.
La Liga sports journalist Robbie Dunne said it was a silly challenge by the defender:
The result is a real missed opportunity for Real Madrid to close the gap on Barcelona, and Zidane will surely be concerned by how tame his side look in attack currently and the lack of creativity on show.
Saturday's only other fixture in La Liga saw Sevilla beat Deportivo, thanks to goals from Wissam Ben Yedder and Michael Krohn-Delhi.
The victory is Sevilla's third consecutive win in the league, and Ben Yedder's form has been a huge part of their run, as shown by La Liga:
Sevilla are now just eight points behind leaders Barcelona and travel to the Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid next time out in La Liga.
