Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly Praises RB Josh Adams After Win Over NC State

This past Saturday, Notre Dame running back Josh Adams rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries as the Fighting Irish strolled to a 35-14 victory over the 14th-ranked North Carolina State Wolfpack at Notre Dame Stadium.  

Following the win, Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly praised the junior ball-carrier, who's in the mix for the Heisman Trophy.

"[Adams] continues to play against top competition, and continues to excel on a very good football team," Kelly told reporters after the contest, per LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune. 

Notre Dame hosts the 5-3 Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday, Nov. 4.
