Les Bleus boast the firepower to torment any opposition, with a host of options now at manager Didier Deschamps' disposal. Those options include Arsenal target man Olivier Giroud, Atletico Madrid talisman Antoine Griezmann and AS Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe.
The latter has immense promise. Still just 18, Mbappe became the youngster first-time international for France in over 60 years when he came off the bench during Saturday's 3-1 win over Luxembourg, per MailOnline's Spencer Morgan.
Mbappe's pace and power would make him a menace for the Spanish defence. A friendly certainly seems like the ideal format for Deschamps to give him a first full start. If so, the teenager would dovetail superbly with Griezmann.
Of course, the Spanish possess their own match-winners in the final third, including Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Manchester City playmaker David Silva, both of whom scored in Friday's 4-1 win over Israel.
The beauty of the Spain squad is how manager Julen Lopetegui can call on more than one batch of legitimate game-changers in attack. If he opts to rest Costa, Silva and Co. for a friendly, Lopetegui can still turn to Real Madrid duo Alvaro Morata and Isco as well as Chelsea winger Pedro.
Such a rich bounty of options underlines why Spain have to be fancied to make waves at the World Cup next summer. How they stand up to an equally formidable France squad will be a good barometer for how the 2010 winners will do in Russia.
