Manchester City vs. Watford: Pep Guardiola's Key Pre-Match Presser Comments
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has insisted there is "no way" he will change his team's style of play despite the Sky Blues' recent run of poor results.
After winning 10 games in a row at the start of the season, the Spanish manager's City side have picked up just four victories in their last 15 games in all competitions, most recently losing 4-2 to Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Speaking on Tuesday ahead of City's league clash with Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, Guardiola made it clear he will not betray the methods that have made him so successful elsewhere despite recent form, per Goal.com's Sam Lee: "No way. We are going to play the way I feel, making mistakes, but I cannot do something I don't feel.

"I believe in that. I believe in the way I play. The boss and the chairman are going to decide, but no way."
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager did, however, concede he needs to adapt to the English style of football, but he claimed his side did not deserve to lose to Leicester in the way they did, per City:
The Manchester outfit's run of poor results has seen them drop from the top of the Premier League table to fourth, seven points behind leaders Chelsea.
Wednesday's clash with Watford signals the start of the congested and vital Christmas period and is arguably a must-win game for Guardiola's side if they are to keep their title hopes alive.
City will still be without key players Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho due to suspensions, as well as captain Vincent Kompany through injury.
Meanwhile, midfielder Yaya Toure has pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge, per BBC Sport.
However, Guardiola announced the Ivorian remains available for selection, while Nicolas Otamendi returns from suspension, per ESPN's Jonathan Smith:
Watford have been inconsistent of late, winning three and losing three of their last six matches, but their most recent result was a 3-2 victory over Everton.
City prevailed in both their Premier League matches with the Hornets last season and will still be the favourites to pick up three points again on Wednesday at the Etihad.
But given the Sky Blues' recent form, Watford manager Walter Mazzarri will be confident his side can cause the hosts some problems.
