Recap
Barcelona ended their winless streak in impressive fashion, putting three goals past a hapless Osasuna squad to breathe new life into the title race.

The Catalans didn't look particularly sharp early on, and it took the visitors almost an hour to open the score. Messi sent Jordi Alba through on goal with a fantastic pass, and the defender laid it off to Suarez, who tapped home from close range.
There was more magic on the way from Messi, who added two more goals to put the final score on the board. His second was a fantastic solo effort in which he danced his way into the box before faking out the entire defence, drawing plenty of praise from former England international Gary Lineker:
The win left Barcelona three points behind leaders Real Madrid, but Los Blancos pushed the gap back to six points with a close win over Deportivo.
Alvaro Morata gave the hosts the lead and tied things up after a brace from Joselu put Deportivo in the driver's seat. The Galicians seemed primed to grab a point at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, until Ramos came to the rescue.
The Real icon credited a healthy dose of fighting spirit for the win, per La Liga's official Twitter account:
In the Basque Country, Real Sociedad raced out to an early two-goal lead over a slumping Valencia team. Andrew Gaffney of Yahoo Sport UK thought manager Cesare Prandelli's Valencia side did the opposite of what he asked:
Willian Jose tormented the visiting defence the way he has all season, scoring twice from set pieces. The Brazilian is enjoying life in San Sebastian, and per La Liga's official Twitter account, does his damage almost exclusively at the Anoeta:
Valencia were gifted a penalty when Inigo Martinez clearly got the ball before clattering into Santi Mina, but Daniel Parejo didn't care one bit, pulling his side level before half-time.
But the hosts showed their maturity after the break, doing an excellent job of pulling all of the momentum out of Valencia's attack. And wth time running down, Juanmi put the finishing touch on an excellent win, adding a third goal to put Los Che away for good. Zakaria Bakkali's late strike meant a tense finale, but a Valencia win never seemed likely.

It's another setback for Valencia, who might have to start worrying about a relegation battle at this rate. La Real jump Atletico Madrid for fourth place with the win.
Leganes battled to a draw at Las Palmas, with Guerrero converting a late penalty to earn a point for the visitors.
