Dede Westbrook Injury: Updates on Oklahoma Star's Head and Return
Oklahoma wide receiver Dede Westbrook is out for the remainder of Saturday's game against Oklahoma State after suffering a potential head injury.

Latest on Westbrook's Playing Status
Saturday, Dec. 3
Westbrook was hit hard by Cowboys safety Jordan Sterns and was ruled out for the second half, according to SoonerScoop.com.
According to Jon Solomon of CBSSports.com, Westbrook exhibited a fencing response with his arms following the hit, which can be a warning sign of a concussion.
According to Mike Leslie of WFAA Channel 8 in Dallas, the hit appeared to be legal:
Westbrook was enjoying another excellent game prior to the injury with four receptions for 111 yards and one touchdown. The senior entered the day with 70 grabs for 1,354 yards and 15 touchdowns, making him a Heisman Trophy candidate along with Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Westbrook has at least one receiving touchdown to his credit in 10 straight games, and he's topped the 100-yard receiving plateau in eight of his past nine contests as well.
Although a College Football Playoff berth is unlikely, Saturday's game between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State is a de facto Big 12 title game and promises to have major bowl implications.
Regardless of whether Westbrook's absence stretches beyond Saturday, Mayfield will be forced to rely more heavily on less productive receivers such as Mark Andrews and Geno Lewis for as long as he is out.
