EA Sports have paid tribute to Brasileiro club Chapecoense by making their kits and badge available to players of FIFA 17's Ultimate Team.

A plane carrying Chapecoense players and staff, as well as aircrew and journalists, crashed in Colombia on Monday night with the Brazilian side en route to the Copa Sudamericana final, killing 71 people and leaving six survivors, per the Associated Press.

In tribute, FIFA 17 have offered Ultimate Team players the option to use Chapecoense badge and kits. Mundo ESPN providing an image of the message sent to users:

Per EA Sports, Chapecoense were among 23 Brazilian teams included in the game for the first time in FIFA 17, although none were initially included in FUT.

EA Sports' tribute comes in tandem with many other gestures from across the football community that have acknowledged the tragedy that has befallen Chapecoense.

Fellow Brazilian clubs Coritiba, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Portuguesa, Santos and Sao Paulo have offered to loan Chapecoense players for free to help them carry on and petitioned the Brazilian FA to make sure they do not end up being relegated as a result of the tragedy, per James Whaling in the Mirror.

Meanwhile, per Sky Sports' Chris MacRae, tributes and condolences were sent from across the globe, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United, among many others, paying their respects.
