Victor Valdes Creates 'Hola Dating' Mobile App, Details Experience on Twitter
Middlesbrough goalkeeper Victor Valdes has invented a mobile dating app called "Hola Dating."
The former Barcelona star created the app in conjunction with a start-up group, Tramuntana Adventures, and is similar to Tinder, as noted by Laura Eguiluz of AS.
Valdes took to social media to reveal Hola Dating to over four million followers:

Best known for producing match-winning saves, Valdes provided an insight into how his match-making app will work, as per AS:
"I'm on the app and the system says 'Hola' and gives me a brown-orange colour. The system is giving me a completely random colour. You then show that random colour to the person you are interested in and take your conversation into a private channel."
The app is currently in production at the Autonomous University of Barcelona as Valdes looks to get feedback and improve the product.
The 34-year-old added, via Ben Nagle for Mail Online:
"We think that in the dating world, you can feel attracted to someone on the bus, the metro, in a cafe, or in a college or club. But, you don't necessarily have the courage to approach them and break the ice. Therefore you need this app.
"
Valdes' move into technology shows he is already exploring his future plans for life after football.

Following a brief spell with Manchester United, he signed for Middlesbrough on a two-year deal in the summer after their promotion to the Premier League.
Aitor Karanka's Boro side currently sit 17th in the table having won just one of their opening nine matches of the season.
Valdes was a big-name capture for Boro, but the former Spain international has been unable to help his new side get off to a fast start on their return to the top division after seven years in the Championship.
However, an upturn in performance saw him claim his first clean sheet of the campaign in a goalless draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
