Bloodied Neymar Substituted for Brazil After Attempted Nutmeg and Collision

Barcelona superstar Neymar was in action for his country on Thursday night as Brazil romped to a 5-0 win over Bolivia in World Cup qualifying.

He opened the scoring after 11 minutes before goals from Philippe Coutinho, Filipe Luis, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino completed the scoring for the home side.

But the 24-year-old's evening was cut short after a nasty collision with an opponent shortly after the hour mark.

Neymar attempted a nutmeg and received an apparent stray forearm from Yasman Duk—a knock that left him bloodied and forced his substitution after 68 minutes.

Brazilian fans will be hoping their hero can recover in time for Tuesday's visit to Venezuela, where he will look to score his 50th senior international goal.
