The fourth-ranked Michigan Wolverines recovered from a slow start to upend the Colorado Buffaloes 45-28 on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Colorado jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the first quarter, but the Wolverines rattled off 38 of the next 45 points. Michigan's punt-return team scored twice, including a 54-yard return by Jabrill Peppers.
Grant Perry, Jehu Chesson, Amara Darboh, De'Veon Smith and Ty Isaac each notched a touchdown for the Wolverines, who improved to 3-0. The Buffaloes fell to 2-1 despite a three-touchdown effort from Sefo Liufau. He exited the game early after suffering an ankle injury.
