
Controlled Explosion at Stade De France Before France vs. Iceland Euro 2016
French police have reportedly conducted a controlled explosion near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, near Paris, just hours before the 2016 UEFA European Championship quarter-final match between Iceland and hosts France.
According to MailOnline's Darren Boyle, fans making their way toward the stadium heard an explosion around 5 p.m. BST. The report stated a "suspicious car" was discovered close to the stadium.

The Stade de France was the site of an attempted terrorist attack in November 2015, when at least two individuals tried to gain access to the stadium during an international friendly between France and Germany, per Boyle.
One of the individuals later detonated a suicide vest at the Stade de France as part of a series of attacks that killed 130 people in across Paris.
