UEFA is reportedly going to begin disciplinary proceedings against both Croatia and Turkey on Saturday following fan misconduct during Friday's Euro 2016 group-stage matches.
Sky Sports News HQ confirmed the governing body's decision to investigate the incidents.
Croatia's match with the Czech Republic faced an extended delay inside the final 10 minutes of regulation time after individuals started throwing flares on the pitch. Matthew Stanger of The Set Pieces provided a look at the scene inside Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Etienne, France:

Aleksandar Holiga of the Guardian reported Croatian fans started the chaos and claim it was because they "lost faith" in the Croatian Football Federation. The Blazers, who were leading 2-1 before the delay, ended up conceding the tying goal from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.
Afterward, Croatia head coach Ante Cacic expressed strong feelings against the antics of a select few, according to BBC Sport.
"The 95 percent of Croatian supporters are ashamed in front of Europe," he said. "These are sports terrorists. This is maybe just a question about six to 10 individuals. I hope they can be identified and punished. I hope the Croatia FA is doing everything to prevent this, but it is impossible to avoid."
RTE Sport noted Turkey also faces potential discipline after its supporters set off fireworks, threw objects and invaded the pitch during a 3-0 loss to Spain at the Allianz Riviera in Nice, France.
Supporter behavior has been a hot-button topic throughout Euro 2016. Tim Hume and Zayn Nabbi of CNN reported both England and Russia were threatened with expulsion from the tournament after fan violence surrounding their match on June 11.
UEFA didn't provide a timetable on whether Croatia or Turkey will face punishment for Friday's problems.
