Euro 2016 Schedule: Live Stream, TV Info and Odds for Saturday Group Fixtures

Gianni VerschuerenJun 10, 2016

Six teams will start their Euro 2016 campaign on Saturday, headlined by England's Group B clash with Russia. In that same group, Wales will go head-to-head with Albania, while Group A's second contest, between Albania and Switzerland, is also on the schedule.

England and Switzerland are the clear favourites to win their respective matches, per Oddschecker, but the oddsmakers have more difficulty picking a winner between Slovakia and Wales.

Here's a look at the full match odds, along with TV info and live streams:

Preview

England are expected to dominate Group B after their strong showing during the qualifiers and good form in the final friendlies. They'll face some competition from their three opponents, but major injury concerns have hampered Russia's bid for an upset.

Star playmaker Alan Dzagoev won't be running Russia's attack, and per ESPN FC's Michael Yokhin, Igor Denisov will be another key absentee:

England's defence has looked shaky at times in the last few weeks, but given Russia's lack of options in midfield, the Three Lions' back four shouldn't come under too much threat. Zenit St. Petersburg's Artem Dzyuba will be one to keep an eye on, but by isolating the tall target man, England should find a way to neutralise their opponents' main attacking threat.

As shared by Sky Sports News HQ, England manager Roy Hodgson won't use his team's lack of experience as an excuse:

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane will spearhead the Three Lions' attack, and he should see much of the ball against the Russians. Expect England to press high up the pitch and put pressure on Russia's midfielders, creating counter opportunities throughout the contest.

Jamie Vardy's speed could be a major advantage, but with their opponents expected to sit back and defend to cope with the absence of Dzagoev and Denisov, he could start on the bench, as Hodgson adds an extra wide threat adept at firing in crosses. Manchester City's Raheem Sterling would be a great option, and his recent form has been excellent.

Slovakia caused quite the shock by beating world champions Germany 3-1 on enemy soil in their penultimate friendly ahead of the tournament, and while the result of that match should be placed in the right context―dreadful weather meant neither side gave it their all―the side certainly demands respect.

Marek Hamsik and his team-mates finished ahead of Ukraine in their qualifying group, recording a win over European champions Spain along the way. In Juraj Kucka, they have an excellent ball-winning midfielder who enjoyed a solid season with AC Milan, and veteran defender Martin Skrtel is an important defensive piece.

In terms of raw individual talent, Slovakia are at least as strong as Wales, who earned their Euro 2016 spot with superb organisation, excellent defending and some individual brilliance from Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey.

Per Bleacher Report UK's Dean Jones, Bale will be key to Wales' bid to qualify for the knockout stages:

In Group A, Switzerland should beat an Albanian team that has struggled tremendously against quality opposition of late. Losses against Ukraine and Austria in their last four friendlies highlighted a lack of defensive stability, and it's worth noting the team qualified from a relatively weak Group I, grabbing just 14 points out of eight matches.

Switzerland's group of attackers is so strong, manager Vladimir Petkovic felt comfortable leaving Josip Drmic at home, and with Granit Xhaka and Valon Behrami running the show in midfield, the Swiss should like their chances in Group A.
