Championship Play-off Final 2016: Date, Time, TV Schedule and Live Stream
Hull City can complete an instant return to the Premier League by beating Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final at Wembley.
Tigers manager Steve Bruce has a squad loaded with big-game and top-flight experience, since this group is largely the same as the one relegated last season. Players such as midfielders Jake Livermore and Tom Huddlestone won't be awed by a match "worth up to £200 million" to the winner, per the Daily Mirror's David Anderson.
Yet the Owls are in fine form at the moment, buoyed by the smart direction of Portuguese boss Carlos Carvalhal. He has Wednesday playing a stylish brand of football and has also made them tough at the back.

Bruce's future is uncertain after the final, but some bookmakers believe he'll be kept on, no matter what happens at Wembley, according to James McMath of the Hull Daily Mail.

Yet Bruce will want to finish the job of getting Hull back to the Premier League, regardless of what the summer holds for his career. It will mean settling on the right approach.
He favoured a cagey, counter-attacking strategy in the previous round against Derby County. It makes sense to opt for the same against a Wednesday side accustomed to owning the ball.
Bruce has the right players to absorb pressure and hit back on the break. Abel Hernandez can play the lone striker role well, while winger Ahmed Elmohamady and midfielder Mohamed Diame have the pace and power to quickly transition defence to attack.

By contrast, Carvalhal will want his players to boss possession. It's an approach that requires big performances in the central areas of midfield.
First, though, the manager must decide between Alex Lopez or Sam Hutchinson, both of whom played in the previous round against Brighton and Hove Albion, per the Sheffield Telegraph's Dom Howson.
Whoever plays in midfield, the remit will be clear: Get the ball to Fernando Forestieri. The crafty forward is the hub of creativity in the final third for Wednesday.
Bruce is certainly clear about Forestieri's threat, per Howson, writing for the Sheffield Star: "You have to say that he’s their talisman. He’s given a free role and he’s a good player."
Keeping Wednesday's primary creator quiet will demand very disciplined performances from Huddlestone and Livermore, who must protect the Hull back four and deny the gaps for through passes.

Wednesday have the quality in possession to craft a host of chances, but they'll be facing an experienced squad with the knowhow to grind out a result when it matters.
Prediction: Hull 2-1 Wednesday
