Republic of Ireland vs. Netherlands: 2016 Friendly Date, Time, TV, Live Stream
After the disappointment of failing to qualify for this summer's UEFA Euro 2016, the Netherlands will attempt to ruin the Republic of Ireland's preparation for the big tournament when the two meet at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on Friday.
Republic manager Martin O'Neill will be without a host of key players, as injuries and ongoing commitments—both in America's Major League Soccer and the Football League in England—have limited his options.
Meanwhile, Netherlands manager Danny Blind is still in the rebuilding phase after his squad disappointed during the qualification campaign.

O'Neill will be without as many as five players, including Stoke City utility man Marc Wilson, according to Paul O'Hehir of the Irish Mirror:
"But Colorado Rapids striker Kevin Doyle will remain in America for another club game this weekend before joining up for the Belarus friendly in Cork next Tuesday.
Keiren Westwood, David Meyler and David Forde are not here in Dublin owing to Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City and Millwall's respective play-off finals.
"
But O'Neill can still call on some vital figures against the Dutch, despite the lengthy list of absences. Premier League pair James McClean and Jonathan Walters are chief among them.

West Bromwich Albion winger McClean has had his issues keeping his cool on the pitch, but the 27-year-old has the ability to torment any defence when he's focused. His pace and trickery will be a problem for the visitors.
So will Walters' bullish determination and clever movement in the box. The Stoke forward can finish with either foot and is underrated in the air.
Speaking of a striker flying under the radar, AZ Alkmaar's Vincent Janssen has risen to prominence this season. The 21-year-old is a reported target for Premier League side Arsenal, per Priya Ramesh of FourFourTwo.
Ramesh described what makes the prolific attacker so dangerous: "Janssen is not only a finisher but has a good range of passing and movement on and off the ball. He can pick up the ball anywhere along the horizontal space in the final third and either storm down on goal himself or bring his team-mates into play with his back to goal."
Janssen found the net during the Netherlands' last outing, a 2-1 win against England at Wembley. He can form a potent partnership along with PSV Eindhoven's top marksman, Luuk de Jong.
Both players have the physical presence and keen instincts in front of goal to make things difficult for O'Neill's men.
The Netherlands stumbled during qualifying, but the nation still boasts a host of young stars capable of winning any game. This is sure to be tough preparation work for the Republic of Ireland.
