2016 Copa America Centenario Betting Preview: Argentina, Brazil Odds Favorites
Brazil has won four of the last six Copa America tournaments, most recently doing so back in 2007. The Brazilian national team is one of the betting favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark heading into this year's Copa America Centenario.
The Brazilian squad enters the Copa America tournament going off at +350 (bet $100 to win $350) to come out on top. Led by Barcelona's Neymar, Brazil is a deeply talented and strong team that will be highly motivated to shake off recent failures in the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2015 Copa America.
Brazil will be the host nation of the next official Copa America in 2019; this year's event is a ceremonial one to honor 100 years of this tournament's history.

Neymar's teammate at Barcelona will try to break out of a slump at the international level as Argentina enters the Copa America as the favorite to win it all at +225. Lionel Messi is considered by most to be the best player in the world and one of the all-time greats, but Messi has failed to lead Argentina to any major tournament wins in international play.
Argentina has finished runner-up in three of the last four Copa America tournaments, with two of those losses in the final coming against Brazil.
The host country United States is going off at +700 to win the Copa America on soccer betting lines for the event. This year's Copa America Centenario marks the first time that this event has ever been hosted by a country outside of South America.
The United States has improved over the last five years under manager Jurgen Klinsmann, but the USMNT are still looking to take the next step in becoming an international contender.
Chile (+700 on the odds to win the Copa America) is the returning champion coming off a win in the 2015 Copa America and should have no trouble getting out of Group D with Argentina over Bolivia (+10000) and Panama (+15000).
A repeat could be difficult, however, as the team is in transition with new manager Juan Antonio Pizzi taking over early this year.
Other contenders to win the Copa America include Colombia (+900), Uruguay (+900), Mexico (+1000), Ecuador (+3300), Costa Rica (+5000), Paraguay (+5000) and Peru (+5000).
