Bayern Munich vs Atletico Madrid: Antoine Griezmann Reacts to UCL Semi-Final Win
Match-winner Antoine Griezmann has warned his Atletico Madrid team-mates not to get too carried away after their 2-1 loss against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, a result that was good enough for the Rojiblancos to qualify for the final of the UEFA Champions League thanks to an aggregate score of 2-2.
As reported by AS (h/t Football Espana), the France international urged his team-mates to "keep their 'feet on the ground'":
"We are happy. It was a difficult, difficult game. We had a great team in front of us and had to defend and score the one chance we were going to have. We did it.
The best team wins. Bayern were better in this match but we won in the first leg. We scored here and that was important.
We have to keep our feet on the ground, focus on La Liga and the final and then we’ll have time to think about it.

Griezmann leveled the score in the second half after former Liverpool star Xabi Alonso had opened the score with a free-kick, and a headed goal from Robert Lewandowski with 15 minutes left to play signaled a frantic finale to a dramatic match.

Both teams had penalties saved, and there was some controversy surrounding Griezmann's equaliser, as the forward appeared to be offside when he was played in by Fernando Torres.
Per La Liga's official Twitter account, the former Real Sociedad star revealed what manager Diego Simeone told his troops during half-time:
The Rojiblancos have arguably been the most in-form team in Europe in the last few weeks, closing the gap with Barcelona in the Spanish title race and knocking the defending champions and favourites out of the Champions League.

After the Catalans, Bayern were probably the second-favourites, but they too struggled to find a way through Atletico's remarkable defence. The first half of Tuesday's contest belonged to Bayern, as they played much better than they did in Madrid, but Atleti made the necessary changes at half-time.
Real Madrid and Manchester City will go head-to-head at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday for the other ticket to the final, and Griezmann doesn't care who wins, via the tournament's official Twitter account:
Atletico lost a heartbreaking final against their neighbours in 2014, as Sergio Ramos scored a last-minute equaliser to force extra time, and you have to assume Simeone and his squad would love to avenge that defeat in this year's final.
The Rojiblancos beat Real at the Bernabeu in February and have yet to lose to their rivals in the 2015-16 season, so they would surely like their chances of beating Los Blancos once more.
