Premier League Table: Week 35 2016 Standings, Results, Odds and Week 36 Fixtures

Leicester City can win the 2015-16 Premier League title in Week 36 after Tottenham Hotspur ran to a 1-1 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion—as long as the Foxes beat Manchester United at Old Trafford this Sunday.

Second-placed Spurs couldn't make their chances count in Monday's clash against the Baggies, where Craig Dawson netted for both sides to share the spoils and leave Tottenham's title bid in tatters.

Although manager Mauricio Pochettino's side can still mathematically overturn the deficit to clinch the Premier League crown, their dream of silverware looks to be all but over after stumbling in Week 25.

Tottenham's Title Chances Wearing Thin

Any hopes Tottenham may have held in attempting to claw back the Foxes' lead and win their first top-flight trophy in 55 years look to be dashed after Pochettino's side were stumped by West Brom on Monday.

The 1-1 draw left Leicester seven points clear at the top of the table, and Breathe Sport illustrated the glee West Brom boss Tony Pulis must have felt in stunting the north Londoners' progress:

Manager Mauricio Pochettino knows those hopes could all but turn to rubble in Week 36, too, as the north Londoners make the short trip to Stamford Bridge hoping to down Chelsea and keep pressure at the top.

Nothing is over until the proverbial fat lady sings, of course, but blogger Liam Canning pointed out Spurs' profligacy as a show of weakness and noted the title should now be on its way to the King Power Stadium:

Anything but a win in west London next Monday risks leaving Spurs adrift at the summit with only a handful of games remaining and seven points to claw back, but Leicester may have the trophy sewn up by that point.

After travelling to Chelsea, Tottenham have a tough home clash against Southampton before ending their season away to Newcastle United, none of which can be considered straightforward ties.

Foxes Facing Fairytale Fight

LEICESTER, ENGLAND - APRIL 24: Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City celebrates with his team-mates after scoring a goal to make the score 1-0 during the Barclays Premier League match between Leicester City and Swansea City at The King Power Stadium on April 24

One would have been forgiven for doubting Leicester's rags-to-riches rise into title contention months ago, with many under the sneaking suspicion their charge was destined to end at some stage.

Now, with just three games remaining, silverware is within reach, and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp recently attested to just how desperate manager Claudio Ranieri's players will be to complete their fantasy, per Squawka:

The Foxes travel to Old Trafford on Sunday hoping to end Manchester United's recent four-win streak and move a substantial step closer to sealing the deal, but pressure can be a cruel mistress in these phases of a season.

One who needs to withstand that pressure for three more matches is PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez, whom Nigerian broadcaster Deji Kofi Faremi recently reported as breaking even more new ground:

Following a tough trip to Manchester, Leicester host Everton and fittingly end their season with a trip to Chelsea, the very team from whom they're on course to wrest the Premier League away.

Three points from those three games is far from unrealistic for a team that's already beaten the latter two opponents this season, but a 1-1 draw at home to United in November leaves a seed of doubt against the Red Devils.
