Liverpool claimed Merseyside bragging rights with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Everton.

The Toffees held their own for much of the first half, but goals before the break from Divock Origi and Mamadou Sakho put Liverpool in command.

Everton had Ramiro Funes Mori sent off at the start of the second half for a foul that resulted in Origi leaving the field on a stretcher.

Origi's replacement Daniel Sturridge added a third, with a fourth coming from Philippe Coutinho.
