The Champions League's official Twitter feed confirmed the schedule for the last four:
The respective winners will advance to May 28's final at the San Siro. Friday's draw established that the winner of the City-Real tie will be the designated home team in Milan.
Bayern Favourites Following Barcelona Elimination
Barcelona's defeat to Atleti at the quarter-final stage came as something of a shock, as many had backed the Blaugrana to become the first team in the Champions League era to successfully defend their title.
Diego Simeone's side were fully deserving winners of their last-eight tie after they impressively overturned a 2-1 first-leg deficit by winning 2-0 at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday.
Such is the strength of Atletico's immense defence that they will be very hard for Bayern to break down in the semi-finals, and tactics expert Michael Cox believes it should be a brilliant contest between the two sides:
Bayern are now arguably the favourites to win the Champions League following Barca's elimination, with Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe ranking the German side as currently the best in Europe:
Manager Pep Guardiola has immense experience having won the competition twice in the last seven years with Barca, a factor that could prove crucial.
He also has a brilliant record against Simeone, although they have only met twice before:
Bayern did not have the easiest of times in the last eight against Benfica, but they eventually came through 3-2 on aggregate.
As ever, the key factor for Real if they are to march on to the final will be the form of Cristiano Ronaldo.
He was immense in scoring a hat-trick to overturn the 2-0 deficit against Wolfsburg in the quarter-finals, and his recent record in the Champions League is frankly absurd, per BreatheSport:
"Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored 43 Champions League goals in the last 3 seasons. That's more than Arsenal! pic.twitter.com/l6y35C92xj

City are in uncharted territory this deep into the competition, but that was also the case in the last round when they impressively saw off the challenge of Paris Saint-Germain.
The Premier League side have been cast as significant underdogs to go all the way, with very few giving them a chance of reaching the final, per Spanish football writer Rafael Hernandez:
Manuel Pellegrini and his side are unlikely to be concerned by such a label, and it could play into their hands with the pressure heavily on Real to beat them in the semi-finals.
Indeed, BBC Sport's Simon Stone believes Los Blancos are the best opponents City could have hoped for:
As ever this far into the Champions League, every match is set to be a blockbuster occasion, and the semi-final draw in 2016 has produced two fascinating clashes.
