Premier League Results: Latest Table, Title Odds After Sunday's Week 33 Scores
Leicester City’s odds of winning their first-ever Premier League title increased on Sunday following their 2-0 away win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
England international Jamie Vardy scored a second-half brace in the north-east as the Foxes remained seven points clear of nearest challengers Tottenham—with just five games of the season remaining—after Spurs beat Manchester United 3-0 at White Hart Lane.
In the day's other game, Liverpool were too strong for Stoke City as they routed the Potters 4-1 at Anfield.

Leicester City: It’s on the cards

Leicester are unwilling to wake up from their Premier League dream story as they moved closer to a famous trophy lift on Sunday.
The Foxes have faced firm opposition in the second-half of the campaign, with teams beginning to evolve their style to compensate for the counter-attacking threat of Claudio Ranieri’s men. In turn, Leicester have become even more determined, more confident, more lethal.
The win over Sunderland was their fifth consecutive victory, with the East Midlands outfit recording clean sheets in each of those games.
After lining up at the start of the campaign as 5000-1 outsiders with bookmakers to end the season as champions, Leicester are now 1-6 favourites to take English football’s top prize. With the title race yet undecided, fans can at least celebrate securing Champions League football.
Vardy’s first goal came about on 66 minutes after the pacy attacker collected Danny Drinkwater’s direct ball forward before controlling well and slotting past goalkeeper Vito Mannone, much to the delight of the travelling support and the club’s social media accounts.
Vardy then notched his second of the game in stoppage time as he rounded the on-rushing Mannone to tap into an unguarded net to take his goal tally for the season to 20 in the league.
The Foxes’ early kick-off put pressure on title hopefuls Spurs, who knew a defeat would leave them 10 points shy of the summit with games running out fast.
They were forced to be patient in front of their nervous support but finally broke the deadlock in the second period through Dele Alli. From that, the floodgates were wide-open as Spurs netted twice more in the next six minutes to put the game out of sight. Toby Alderweireld scored from close range before Argentina’s Erik Lamela also added his name to the scoresheet with a sweeping effort.
Tottenham's odds dropped ever so slightly to 5-1 following their memorable clash with United, but they remain second best. The north Londoners have endured a terrible record against the Premier League giants, having beaten them just five times since the inception of the division in 1992, per the Daily Mail's Adam Shergold. However, their comprehensive win sees them keep pace with the leaders, albeit they failed to close the gap.
Leicester are now just three wins away from securing a historic league triumph but will come up against high-flyers West Ham at King Power Stadium in their next fixture on Saturday. Meanwhile, up next for Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs is a trip to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City the Monday after.
The bookmakers expect the title race to be a two-team contest until the end, with Arsenal's odds stretching considerably to 33-1 after they lost ground drawing with Slaven Bilic's side on Saturday afternoon. Now 13 points behind the leaders, it will take an astonishing comeback from the Gunners to overhaul Leicester at this stage of the campaign.
Further back, both Manchester clubs stand no chance of securing domestic glory this term and remain in a bout to secure qualification for the Champions League.
A spot in Europe's elite competition has become harder to attain this year following the emergence and good form of Leicester and Spurs respectively. The Premier League heavyweights also face competition from West Ham in the fight for a top-four slot.
