UK Back Pages: Manchester City Have 1 Foot in the Champions League Final Four

When Manchester City are splashed on the back of every UK newspaper the morning after a UEFA Champions League match, it generally is not for positive reasons.

However, the Citizens are thought to be in an excellent position for their quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain next week after bagging vital away goals in the 2-2 draw at the Parc des Princes.

The Times says that City have one foot in the final four while also devoting column inches to a report claiming Daniel Sturridge will be dropped from Liverpool's big Europa League clash with Borussia Dortmund:
