Zimbabwean Side Attempt Lionel Messi-Luis Suarez Pass Penalty, Fail Badly

After Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez successfully pulled off an audacious pass-penalty in Barcelona's 6-1 win over Celta Vigo on Feb. 14, there were always going to be a few imitators.

Roderick Mutuma and Valentine Ndaba of Zimbabwean side Dynamos FC attempted to reproduce the controversial penalty in a friendly against Wha Wha FC earlier this week, only it didn't go so well.

With all the attention surrounding the Barca penalty in recent weeks, defenders across the world are likely paying extra attention to penalties, and that appeared to be the case here, as a Wha Wha man reacted quickly to make a heroic, last-ditch tackle and prevent the goal.

Fortunately for Mutama and Ndaba, Dynamos were already 4-0 up, so they didn't have to worry too much about the missed opportunity.
