Tuesday Recap

Barcelona showed why they are the best team on the planet as they beat Arsenal 2-0, without ever driving into top gear.
The Gunners gave a brave account of themselves for much of the contest, but the Blaugrana scored two goals deep in the second half to place one foot in the quarter-finals.
The first half remained goalless, but Arsenal could have taken the lead when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked certain to score.
The midfielder found himself on the penalty spot with only goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to beat, but he lost balance and control, failing to convert.
The visitors dominated possession despite the Gunners' strong rearguard action, per WhoScored.com:

Arsenal continued to look buoyant in the second half as Barca struggled to find their natural game.
Messi was subdued in the wider positions as the Gunners defended valiantly, but it was the Argentina international who was to be the difference as he has been so many times in his career.
Neymar led a flash breakaway as Arsenal drove into Barca territory in search of a goal, and the Brazilian maestro fed in Messi, who calmly placed the ball beyond the reach of Petr Cech.
The 71st-minute strike knocked the stuffing out of the hosts, and the Blaugrana looked reborn with confidence.
Pundit David May tipped his hat toward Messi and his surprise goal:
Barca wrapped up the win in the final minutes of the match as Mathieu Flamini blatantly fouled Messi in the box, only seconds after coming on as a substitute.
The attacker picked himself up to send Cech the wrong way from the spot, and Barca will take a two-goal lead into the return leg in Catalonia.

Bayern will have believed they would easily skip past Juve after the first half in Turin on Tuesday, as Pep Guardiola's side dominated proceedings.
Muller slotted the ball home just before the half-time whistle after a convincing display, and Bayern were rewarded with a second as Robben curled in his shot on 55 minutes.
However, the hosts rolled up their sleeves and found another gear, and they will travel to Munich with hope in their hearts.
Dybala struck back to place Juve on Bayern's tail just after the hour mark, and Sturaro's effort gave the Italians a precious draw 14 minutes from the end.
Barca and Bayern will be overwhelming favourites to advance to the last eight, but Juve will feel they have a puncher's chance after battling their way back into contention.
Arsenal will be hugely disappointed not to have scored after creating good opportunities, but Juve will believe they have enough firepower to win by a solitary goal in Germany.
