How Twitter Reacted to Tottenham's Dramatic Win over Manchester City
Sunday's Premier League fixture slate promised so much—and it certainly delivered. After Arsenal's last-gasp win over Leicester and Liverpool's demolition of Aston Villa, Tottenham managed a 2-1 victory over fellow title contenders Manchester City.
The game burst into life in the second half, in particular the 52nd minute, when the key moment of controversy occurred. Tottenham were awarded a penalty when a Danny Rose cross may or may not have struck Raheem Sterling's arm. Accordingly, many fans were incensed with referee Mark Clattenburg:
