Leicester's Lead Set in Gunners' Sights
With only 13 weeks of the Premier League campaign remaining, Arsenal's home clash against leaders Leicester is about as close to a six-pointer as one can get, and Arsene Wenger's men face a do-or-die clash in Week 26.
A 2-0 win at Bournemouth set the Gunners on their way, but Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is under no illusions regarding the strength of this Leicester team, according to the Mirror's Neil McLeman:
"It was important to bounce back from the results we have had of late and it was important to do that with the result that Leicester got yesterday (against Manchester City). So it was important to stay in touching distance of them and it will be an interesting game on Sunday.
What Leicester have done this season is quite remarkable but we have got to be right on it to get all three points. It was important to win today. Hopefully now we can take away this momentum and come away with a victory there as well. We are in a good position now and hopefully we can maintain this.
"
But this isn't the same Leicester City Arsenal defeated 5-2 at the King Power Stadium in September, with Ranieri's side now much more comfortable in their roles as Premier League leaders.
While the transfer values and reputations of the players at the two clubs may differ greatly, broadcaster and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan highlighted grit and mental toughness as being factors of vast contrast:
Leicester have scored 26 goals away from home in league competition this season—more than any other team—and the three goals at the Etihad last Saturday showed they can bust down just about any defence.
Having said that, the Gunners boast the division's joint-second-best defence this term after leaking just 22 goals in 25 games, but they'll need to produce their very best in order to top this must-win meeting.
Spurs Look to Compound City's Title Woes

Another head-spinning storyline in what's been a topsy-turvy season among the Premier League elite sees second-place Tottenham just five points off Leicester before travelling to face Manchester City this Sunday.
Bleacher Report pair Dean Jones and Sam Tighe recently analysed Tottenham in terms of their title-winning potential, and they too face a make-or-break duel at the Etihad this weekend:
Former Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has outlined Pochettino's outfit as the biggest threat to leaders Leicester, and an away win over Manuel Pellegrini's men would go a long way in vindicating those claims:
City haven't played to their potential this season, and it's their failure to beat the top teams in particular that's proved to be their undoing. It just so happens that a 4-1 defeat at White Hart Lane earlier in the campaign remains their joint-heaviest loss of the term.
On the back of a debilitating defeat to the Foxes, Manchester City's confidence may be brittle at present, but a team led by the likes of Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero always has the capacity to break out and impress.
