Partick Thistle Mascot Kingsley Wants a Date for Valentine's Day
Infamously terrifying Partick Thistle mascot Kingsley is looking for love this Valentine's Day.
No, we're serious.
The—well, we're not actually too sure what Kingsley is—has issued a plea to anyone who wants to be his "Queensley" (again, we're serious) at Partick's home game against Aberdeen on February 19.

Kingsley told Partick's official website:
"I've made lots of friends since I moved here, especially in the team, who are all great guys. But I've never had much luck in love as I am quite shy with the ladies. So I thought I'd take matters into my own hands and look for my very own Queensley to share my first Valentine’s Day in Scotland.
"
The club is inviting fans to write a 250-word poem with the winning entry earning the honour of a date with Kingsley.
“I would love to have somebody come along to the Aberdeen game with me and help cheer the guys on," he continued. "I can be pretty loud and full of energy, so I need somebody to keep up with me."
But never fear, humans: "They don't even need to be yellow."
The winner will be announced on Valentine's Day.
