DR Congo are determined not to show any fear when they take on Rwanda. Leopards manager Florent Ibenge has promised a bold approach, according to Geoffrey Asiimwe of AllAfrica.com.
Being fearless won't be easy considering Rwanda have won the last two meetings between these two nations. The Amavubi didn't exactly make light work of the group stage, though, qualifying from Group A with two wins but scoring fewer goals (four) than they conceded (five), per the tournament's official site.
This is being regarded as the "match of the tournament," according to Peter Kamasa of AllAfrica.com. It's also likely to be a tight affair, but Amavubi forward Ernest Sugira is a good bet to break the deadlock and send Rwanda through to the final four.
While goals may be hard to come by in this mooted marquee quarter-final, expect Tunisia to show plenty of potency in attack against Mali. The Carthage Eagles boast a bevy of talented forwards, such as Saad Bguir and Ahmed Akaichi.
Both players netted when Tunisia smashed five past Niger to seal qualification, per Goal.com's Seye Apanisile. It's a duo that will be too much for the Mali defence.
Something will have to give when Zambia meet Guinea. The former boast the stingiest defence in the competition, as noted by CAFonline:
Meanwhile, Guinea scored five times to earn second place in Group C. But Zambia's back line hasn't afforded much space to anybody during this tournament. The Chipolopolo will remain typically stingy in this one.
Finally, Cameroon won't find it easy to contain a powerful Ivory Coast side. The Elephants possess ample firepower in the form of strikers Djedje Guiza and Yannick Zakri. They both have the pace and intelligent movement to undermine any team at the tournament, with ASEC Mimosas ace Zakri particularly worth watching.

Unlike the end of the group stages, there won't be many surprises at the quarter-final stage. Expect all of the heavy hitters to progress and set up two very enticing semi-final ties.
