EPL Results: Updated Premier League Table, Odds After Saturday's Week 23 Scores
Most of the signs throughout the current Premier League campaign have pointed toward a title race that comes down to the final weeks and perhaps the last matchday. Nothing happened to change that outlook Saturday as Leicester moved back into the top spot for the time being.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Norwich put together the day's most entertaining match as they combined for nine goals, including two in second-half stoppage time. Adam Lallana played the role of hero for the Reds by netting the winner in the 95th minute.
Let's check out the complete set of results from Saturday's action. That's followed by an updated look at the table, the current title odds and a look at some of the key storylines.

Breaking Down Key Results
Trending Up: Tottenham

While Spurs have remained within striking distance of the title all season, they haven't received as much attention as the top three. They are lying in the proverbial weeds with a chance to make a charge toward first place with a winning streak.
Perhaps that run is already starting to get underway. Saturday's 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace was their second straight to stay within five points of upstart Leicester. They fell behind 1-0 before a trio of goals in the second half, including an early Goal of the Year candidate by Dele Alli, to turn things around.
Alli's strike will get most of the attention, but it was Harry Kane who got Tottenham back level. His recent uptick in form, as illustrated by OptaJoe, is one of the main reason the club's title chances continue to grow quietly:
The next couple of weeks should present a clearer picture for the direction Spurs are heading. They have very winnable matches against Norwich and Watford before visiting Etihad Stadium for a clash with Manchester City. It's a highly critical stretch and also a golden opportunity to make their move.
Ultimately, head coach Mauricio Pochettino deserves a lot of credit for getting the side moving in the right direction. The margin for error is thin, however, with ground to make up and several clubs in the mix.
Trending Down: Manchester United

Every time it feels like United may be starting to pick up a little steam, they have a setback. Today's 1-0 loss to Southampton at Old Trafford is just the latest example. The Red Devils had earned at least a point in four straight Premier League matches before the defeat.
It's not just the loss that's concerning, though. The mostly listless attacking play witnessed Saturday occurs far too often for a club that should have championship aspirations. That's why they are outside the top four despite having strong defensive numbers.
At least some of that, and some would probably argue a lot of it, falls on the manager. Louis van Gaal doesn't have the squad playing with the energy and creativity necessary to find consistent success moving forward on the attack.
Van Gaal lamented being unable to build off their more promising start to 2016, as relayed by the club's official site:
"I can only say what I have seen. I think that, after a row of three victories and a draw in 2016, then you have a lot of confidence. That I didn't see today. Also, the expectations are very high and the pressure for the players is also high because of that. Of course, at half-time, I changed Juan Mata and saw, in the first 15 minutes, we were better and the fans were behind the team and cheering for the team. [Matteo] Darmian was injured and then it was gone. It's a pity we didn't continue with our momentum.
"
United are now five points behind Spurs for fourth and 10 points off Leicester's pace. It's not too late to find more consistent form and change the narrative of the campaign. Alas, there haven't been enough positive signs to think that's going to happen at this stage.
