Sunday Recap

Everton and Spurs played out a pulsating 1-1 encounter at Goodison Park, but neither side could find a winner in the dying moments.
The Toffees took the lead midway through the first half after Lennon struck against his former club. Tom Cleverley's intelligent diagonal ball found Romelu Lukaku in the box, and the striker nodded down for the winger who volleyed into the net.
Everton's official Twitter account shared an image of the special strike:
Despite falling behind, Spurs dominated in terms of possession and were worthy of an equaliser as they drove forward.
The breakthrough finally came in added time at the end of the first half, as Alli finished with aplomb. The young England international burst into the box, chested and volleyed into the bottom corner as he continued to prove one of the finds of the season.
Tottenham's official Twitter account highlighted the 19-year-old's first-half contribution:
The second half continued at a frantic pace, with both teams clearly looking to achieve maximum points. Alli continued to pull the strings from his central berth, but the visitors failed to provide Harry Kane the service he needed to puncture the Everton defence.
Muhamed Besic nearly won the game for the Toffees late in proceedings, but his spectacular volley was tipped over the bar by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Journalist Philippe Auclair hailed Alli's wonderful goal:

In Sunday's early kick-off, Chelsea punished Palace at Selhurst Park as the champions recaptured their winning form with a convincing 3-0 result.
Oscar got Chelsea off to the perfect start, converting after some stellar combination play from Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.

Willian fired from range to make it two early in the second period, and Costa rounded off a man-of-the-match performance with a tap-in to complete the scoring.
The victory sees Chelsea climb to 14th in the Premier League, but they remain six points off the top half of the table.
Chelsea looked more like themselves on Sunday, as they steamrolled a good Palace side. They retained possession with confidence and looked dangerous throughout the match.
Costa once again looked like the predator of old as he ran the front line, and the Eagles defence did not have the answers to stop Chelsea's raiding tactics.
New interim coach Guus Hiddink will be pleased that his tactics have motivated his new side, and it will not be unexpected to see the Blues race up the table in the months ahead.
