Jim Harbaugh Wants to Ref Hulk Hogan-Ric Flair Wrestling Match at the Big House
Jim Harbaugh and the WWE working together just feels...right.
During an appearance on the Stoney and Bill radio show Wednesday, the Michigan head coach was asked if he'd be interested in refereeing a WrestleMania match between Ric Flair, Harbaugh's favorite wrestler, and Hulk Hogan.
"I'm in," he said (h/t CBS Sports).
Harbaugh also proposed the idea of WrestleMania coming to Michigan Stadium:
"Why not the Big House? Why not? 140,000—I bet we could get in there for Wrestlemania. They're trying to break the attendance record at Jerry Jones' stadium in Dallas. (There's) a great Canadian presence in wrestling. Why not Michigan and the Big House?
"
Surely, the coach would step into the ring and throw down, right?
Nope.
"I'd be one of those guys coming out with a towel, waving the towel," he said. "I'll be a corner man."
Yeah, right. You throw a referee in there against Harbaugh and it's go time.
