Manchester United vs. Chelsea
Normally, this clash would have huge ramifications for the title race. As it stands, United are currently sixth in the division having lost their last three Premier League matches, while Chelsea are 15th and just two points above the relegation zone.
Nevertheless, it promises to be a fascinating encounter and one that could have huge implications for United in particular and their manager Louis van Gaal. Per Squawka Football, the Red Devils' 2-0 Boxing Day defeat to Stoke City marks an unwanted milestone:
Rob Dawson of the Manchester Evening News believed United's performance was telling:
Following the defeat, the beleaguered Dutchman admitted he could resign from his position. Per BBC Sport, he said:
"It is not always the club that has to fire or sack me. Sometimes I do that by myself, but I am the one who wants to speak first with the board of Manchester United and my members of staff and my players, not with you."
If United fail to beat the Blues, the pressure on Van Gaal will only increase. Attention will also be on Wayne Rooney after the captain was dropped to the bench against the Potters. Though the move proved divisive, there was nothing in itself wrong with the decision, as Bleacher Report's Graham Ruthven notes:
The problem is a complete lack of viable alternatives to bring on in his stead—something Van Gaal must take responsibility for—but since that can't be resolved until the January transfer window opens, expect Rooney to start at home to Chelsea.
The Blues are hoping to build on four points from their last two games, but their task will be made more difficult as Diego Costa—who scored twice on Boxing Day—will be suspended having picked up five yellow cards.

Chelsea are still a long way from their best but have picked up slightly since Jose Mourinho's departure, particularly going forward with five goals scored in the two games.
Though missing Costa will prove a challenge, against United's newly vulnerable defence they could well prosper on Monday.
Leicester City vs. Manchester City
Despite losing to Liverpool in just their second defeat of the season on Boxing Day, the Foxes remain top of the league thanks to Arsenal's disastrous trip to Southampton.
Man City closed in on them, though, and could leapfrog them on goal difference if they win on Tuesday.

The match will pit some of the most in-form attacking talents in the league against each other with Leicester boasting Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez while City have Kevin De Bruyne firing on all cylinders.
The Belgian has been a sublime capture for the Sky Blues, per Squawka Football:
However, the 24-year-old's best moments have virtually all come at the Etihad Stadium:
The Foxes will undoubtedly be hoping the playmaker has yet another quiet away day on Tuesday, and if he does, they stand a much better chance of claiming a positive result.
What could also have a significant impact on the match is Vincent Kompany's fitness after the defender lasted just nine minutes as a substitute in the win over Sunderland before suffering a recurrence of the calf injury that had left him on the sidelines, per BBC Sport.
It seems unlikely the 29-year-old will start if he plays at all, and the captain is a huge loss to the team, who have conceded just one of their 20 goals and kept seven of their eight clean sheets with him on the pitch.
Without him in the side, Leicester—who scored in every game this season prior to the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on Boxing Day—have an excellent chance of getting on the scoresheet.
The Citizens have plenty about them going forward even if De Bruyne has a quiet game, though, so a score draw might well be on the cards.
