Clemson Fan Gets Dabo Swinney Tattoo After Tigers Make College Football Playoff

The Clemson Tigers are headed to the 2015-16 College Football Playoff, and for one Tigers fan, that accomplishment meant a trip to the tattoo shop was in order.

All because of a "drunk" claim.

Back in October, a Clemson fan posted on Reddit that he would get a tattoo of Tigers coach Dabo Swinney if the team made the playoffs: "If we make it to CFP, I'm getting a Dabo tattoo. If we win, I'm getting a banner under that says Champion. It'll be nice and classy. Real traditional. I'll upload pics, if requested, when the time comes."

Well, the Tigers held the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings each week and ultimately earned the top seed by going 13-0. Sticking to his word, the Redditor got a tattoo of Swinney's face:

Now, we wait to see if he has to go back and get the word "champion" added to the banner.

Update (December 15)

Dabo Swinney saw the tattoo and wasn't impressed (via ESPN.com):

"That doesn't look like me," he said.
