Jurgen Klopp Says Liverpool Showed Character in Europa League Draw

Tom WebbJun 8, 2018

Jurgen Klopp used his post-match interview to praise the character of his players after Liverpool secured a 0-0 draw away to FC Sion on Thursday.

"The first thing you have to do in a match like this is show character—and that's what we did," said Klopp, via the team's official Twitter account.

But it was Klopp's use of the "C-word"—a personal favourite of former Reds boss Brendan Rodgers—that sparked momentary panic amongst supporters.
