Daily Fantasy Basketball 2015: NBA DFS DraftKings' Best Player Picks for Dec. 6
On Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers played an epic overtime game in New Orleans. LeBron James led a furious comeback and pushed the Pelicans to brim before eventually falling. James had 37 points, eight assists, seven boards and 59.8 fantasy points in the contest.
The next night, the Cavaliers (smartly) rested their MVP candidate and suffered a blowout loss to the Heat in Miami.
The point? You have to be alert and ready to edit your lineup all the way up until tipoff. Be sure to check Twitter, RotoGrinders or DraftKings for late scratches before the games begin.

Kobe Bryant ($6,100) at Detroit Pistons
If Kobe Bryant were to ever read this next sentence, he'd probably fly to my city, find my apartment and kick my butt. But he sucks at basketball right now.
Sucks.
However, nobody seems to have given the former MVP the hint. Lakers head coach Byron Scott doesn't seem to know how bad his former star is playing. Kobe is averaging over 34 minutes per game since the big retirement announcement. He's taken 69 shots, including 38 three-pointers, in that short stretch!
But he's averaging over 35 fantasy points per game while shooting 30.4 percent from the field in that time period. Right now, for the Lakers, it's Kobe's way or the highway.

To boot, per DraftKings, the Mamba gets to tee off on the 26th-ranked team at defending shooting guards. It should be a great night for Kobe fantasy owners and a rough one for Kobe fans.
Bradley Beal ($7,200), Garrett Temple ($3,100), Otto Porter ($5,500) vs. Dallas Mavericks

Washington's frontcourt is a disaster. According to CBS Sports, Nene Hilario, Marcin Gortat, Drew Gooden and Kris Humphries are all questionable with injuries or personal situations.
That leaves a ton of minutes to the small forward and guards. I'd bet the Wizards do something similar to what they did in Friday's win over the Phoenix Suns. Otto Porter, Bradley Beal, Garrett Temple and John Wall all played over 34 minutes.
It'll be interesting to see if the Wizards try and dictate the lineups in this game. Dallas has been excellent offensively this season while Dirk Nowitzki is on the floor. Will Dallas trust him to chase Porter and company around the perimeter? We'll see.
One Last Note
Monitor the Rondae Hollis-Jefferson situation. Per Mike Mazzeo of ESPN.com, he injured his ankle in practice yesterday. If Wayne Ellington gets the start at shooting guard, he'll be a value at $3,100 playing against a Golden State Warriors team that just played a draining road game in Toronto yesterday. He has a higher upside than Garrett Temple if he gets more than 25 minutes.
