Sergio Ramos Talks Barcelona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Lionel Messi and More
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has told arch-rivals Barcelona to enjoy their successful run while they can, because changes in fortune can happen very quickly in football.
Speaking at the LFP awards on Monday, per EFE and Sport, he said, "Barca are in a good moment at the moment, let them enjoy it because you never know how long it will last."
As the report noted, the Spaniard helped Los Blancos to a 22-game winning streak last season but still finished the campaign without a major trophy, while Barca went on to win a phenomenal treble, claiming the Spanish title, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

The Blaugrana are currently four points clear atop La Liga, having won their last six league outings. Their incredible form saw them score 20 goals and concede just once across their five fixtures in November, which also saw their 4-0 thrashing of Real at the Bernabeu.
Ramos admitted the Clasico defeat was hard to take, adding, "It was a big blow, but we have to turn the page on that loss as soon as possible."
The 29-year-old—who, as the report indicated, was named La Liga's best defender for the 2014-15 season at the awards—was also asked for his take on the race for the 2015 Ballon d'Or after Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and Barca's Lionel Messi and Neymar were named as the three finalists.

He said: "It doesn’t depend on me. I don’t know what criteria they used to judge it, but all three deserve to be there. I have a little bit of envy that I’ve never got to experience a moment like it in my career."
Usually, Real or Barca players fervently speak out in favour of their team-mates when perennial contenders Messi and Ronaldo go head-to-head for the award each year, so Ramos' candour is admirable.

Messi is perhaps the most likely to win the award after firing Barca to their stunning treble last season, though Ronaldo beat him to the Pichichi, and Neymar has put in some truly majestic performances this year, particularly in the Argentinian's absence through injury—so it may not be cut and dry.
As for the race to La Liga's title, Barca certainly look like the strongest candidates and have more experience in securing league titles than their rivals as Real have finished top just once since 2008.
However, as Ramos rightly points out, things can change quickly and unexpectedly in football, so the race is far from over.
