Champions League 2015: Group Tables, Qualifying Permutations Before Matchday 5
Real Madrid, Manchester City and Zenit Saint Petersburg have already booked their places in the first knockout round of the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League, but there are still 13 spots up for grabs.
There are two matches remaining for each side, and a number of top outfits have the opportunity to confirm qualification from the group stages in the coming week's clashes. There could also be some high-profile casualties on Matchday 5.
Arsenal are in grave danger of early elimination, and their fate lies in the hands of Bayern Munich and Olympiakos.

Qualifying Permutations
Group A
| 1 | Real Madrid | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 7 | 10 |
| 2 | Paris Saint-Germain | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 4 | 7 |
| 3 | Shakhtar Donetsk | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -4 | 3 |
| 4 | Malmo | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -7 | 3 |
Rafael Benitez's Real are under pressure following their 4-0 Saturday defeat to Barcelona in La Liga.
But they have already confirmed their last-16 place in the Champions League and can seal top spot in Group A with a victory away at Shakhtar Donetsk—or if Real and Paris Saint Germain both lose, or Los Blancos draw and the Ligue 1 giants do not win.
PSG can still qualify for the next round with a draw against Malmo if Shakhtar do not beat Real, but a victory would guarantee them a last-16 spot no matter the result in Ukraine.
In all likelihood, Real will confirm top spot with a victory, and PSG will take second place behind.
Group B
| 1 | Manchester United | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 7 |
| 2 | PSV Eindhoven | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 6 |
| 3 | Wolfsburg | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 6 |
| 4 | CSKA Moscow | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | -1 | 4 |
Manchester United, back in the competition after a year-long absence, can book their spot in the last 16 if they beat PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The Red Devils lost the reverse fixture 2-1 back in September, and manager Louis van Gaal has a number of injury concerns ahead of the clash. Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are just two of many who could be unavailable, per Rob Dawson in the Manchester Evening News.

Given the tight nature of Group B all four teams could be in contention going into the final matchday, but CSKA Moscow must avoid losing to Wolfsburg if they are to stay in the hunt.
Group C
| 1 | Benfica | 4 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 3 | 9 |
| 2 | Atletico Madrid | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 7 |
| 3 | Galatasaray | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | -2 | 4 |
| 4 | FC Astana | 4 | 0 | 2 | 2 | -6 | 2 |
Group C's qualifiers could both be decided on Wednesday if Astana fail to beat Benfica and Galatasaray don't win against Atletico Madrid.
Benfica could only need a draw to reach the last 16—if Atleti get at least a draw against Galatasaray—and a victory would ensure their passage to the next round.
Diego Simeone's men need only a draw to qualify, but they will be eager to claim victory to keep them in with a chance of securing top spot, which is so often crucial in drawing an easier opponent in the next round.
Group D
| 1 | Manchester City | 4 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 3 | 9 |
| 2 | Juventus | 4 | 2 | 2 | 0 | 3 | 8 |
| 3 | Sevilla | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -2 | 3 |
| 4 | Borussia Monchengladbach | 4 | 0 | 2 | 2 | -4 | 2 |
Borussia Monchengladbach have no chance of making the last 16 and will be confirmed in fourth spot of Group D if they lose to Sevilla—the Spaniards need a victory to retain any chance of a top-two finish.
Already-qualified City can seal top spot with an away victory over Juventus, and the hosts could confirm qualification even in defeat if Sevilla fail to win.
City were humbled at the weekend in the Premier League on Saturday as they lost 4-1 at home to Liverpool, but the Sky Blues' form in Europe has been excellent of late, as they have won three games on the bounce.
Group E
| 1 | Barcelona | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 6 | 10 |
| 2 | Roma | 4 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 5 |
| 3 | Bayer Leverkusen | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 4 |
| 4 | BATE Borisov | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -7 | 3 |
Barcelona, fresh from their El Clasico triumph, need only a draw at the Camp Nou against Roma to win Group E, and they can assure qualification even in defeat if Bayer Leverkusen fail to win at BATE Borisov.
If Roma beat the Catalan giants and Bayer draw with BATE, the Italians are guaranteed qualification along with Barca.
A Roma victory will also condemn BATE to fourth place in the group if the Belarusian side lose.
Group F
| 1 | Bayern Munich | 4 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 10 | 9 |
| 2 | Olympiakos | 4 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 9 |
| 3 | Arsenal | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -4 | 3 |
| 4 | Dinamo Zagreb | 4 | 1 | 0 | 3 | -6 | 3 |
If Bayern and Olympiakos share the points at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, they will both confirm their passage through to the last 16 and condemn Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb to a group-stage exit no matter their result.
Arsenal need to beat Dinamo at the Emirates and hope Olympiakos lose if they are to be in with a chance of qualifying for the next round when they meet the Greek side on the final matchday.

The Gunners' head-to-head record against Bayern means they have no chance of overtaking the German club even if they end up on the same points at the end of the group stages.
Dinamo's chances of qualification for the last 16 are even slimmer than Arsenal's as they need to beat the Gunners, hope Bayern lose to Olympiakos, and then overhaul their head-to-head with the Bundesliga champions in their final match, having lost to them 5-0 in the reverse fixture in September.
Group G
| 1 | Porto | 4 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 5 | 10 |
| 2 | Chelsea | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 4 | 7 |
| 3 | Dynamo Kiev | 4 | 1 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 5 |
| 4 | Maccabi Tel Aviv | 4 | 0 | 0 | 4 | -10 | 0 |
If Jose Mourinho's Chelsea beat Maccabi Tel Aviv and Dynamo Kiev fail to win against Porto, the Blues will qualify for the first knockout round.
Meanwhile, Porto need to draw with Dynamo to qualify and can clinch top spot with a win or a draw depending on Chelsea's result.
Maccabi have no chance of finishing in the top two but can maintain their chances of finishing third and qualifying for the Europa League if they beat Chelsea and Dynamo do not win.
Group H
| 1 | Zenit St Petersburg | 4 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 6 | 12 |
| 2 | Valencia | 4 | 2 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 6 |
| 3 | Gent | 4 | 1 | 1 | 2 | -1 | 4 |
| 4 | Lyon | 4 | 0 | 1 | 3 | -5 | 1 |
Zenit have the only perfect record in the competition at the moment and, as a result, have guaranteed qualification to the knockout stages already.
A draw at home against Valencia would be enough for them to secure top spot, and even a defeat could be good enough as long as they do not lose out to Los Che on head-to-head—Zenit won 3-2 in the reverse fixture.
Valencia can qualify if they win and Gent fail to against Lyon, but the Belgian side can keep themselves firmly in contention with a match remaining if they win on Tuesday in France.
